Violin by Marco Jian
Handcrafted violin by master maker Marco Jian. All tonewood used to make this instrument is master grade from Italy. It was hand-selected by the marker for its wonderfully flamed back which is perfectly matched to the sides, neck, and scroll. For this violin, Jian selected a Stradivari pattern of 1715 (part of the period known as Stradivari’s golden years). This violin was recently played by a number of accomplished violinists. Their comments were very consistent – great power and balance, very expressive, wonderfully warm with exceptional color.
The instrument has been professionally set up by Allen Gatchell and features: Eva Pirazzi strings, Despiau three tree Superieur bridge, and fine ebony fittings made by Bigaro & Clemente of Italy.$10,500.00

Violin by Danio Wu
This specially commissioned violin by master maker Danio Wu is extraordinary. The pattern used is Joseph Guarneri ‘del Gesu’ 1735. Its tonewood is master grade from Italy, the fine ebony fittings are from Italy as well, and it has been professionally set up using Evah Pirazzi strings with the gold-plated E. The Despiau bridge is a three-tree Superieur. The handwork is exceptional throughout. Varnish is in the old traditional style of the Cremonese masters. It greatly enhances the deep natural figuring of the two-piece maple back.$15,000.00
